Getting your words right
With over 35 million users, Drops is the fastest growing language app in the world. It offers a unique learning method based on mnemonic games of word and illustration combinations.
The main challenge of the rebranding project was to ensure an inclusive visual identity that would be understood by people from all corners and cultures of the world. At the same time, it needed to be simple and convenient enough to fit the lean, data-driven and fast-paced development rhythm of the Drops team.
The solution was a visual system that feeds off and amplifies the thousands of word illustrations within the app, combining them with a fresh range of colours, simple graphic devices and layouts.
